Centrelink - Centrelink (formerly the Department of Social Security (DSS)) is the Australian Commonwealth government's welfare agency. It is the central body responsible for the dispensation of all Commonwealth welfare payments including pensions, student allowances, and unemployment benefits (the 'dole').
